Mahogany Miniature Column and Splat Shelf Clock by Silas Hoadley, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1830, with fruit stenciled splat, wooden dial with Arabic numerals, painted tablet of a church on a waterfront, carved paw feet, printed maker’s label on backboard stating First Quality Time Pieces with Alarm, Pivots bushed with Ivory, Manufactured by Silas Hoadly, Plymouth, Conn., thirty-hour wooden time and alarm movement with pendulum and two cast iron weights, ht. 25 1/2 in.

Condition report

Condition: Replacement painted tablet by Moberg, rear feet replaced, dial numerals enhanced. Object’s left portion is frail and has been poorly repaired.
