Mahogany Carved Triple-decker Shelf Clock, Eli Bartholomew & Co., Bristol, Connecticut, with printed maker’s label inside, carved columns and fruit basket splat, looking glass in mid section, reverse-painting in the lower, painted wooden dial with Arabic numerals, thirty-hour wood time and strike movement with countwheel strike, two cast iron weights and pendulum, (movement probably replaced), ht. 36 in.

Condition report

Condition: Reverse-painting is an old replacement and with numerous cracks; movement is a probable replacement as there is no alarm train as the dial would suggest; dial appears to fit well.
