Luman Watson Shelf Clock with Eagle Stencil, pine and poplar case with mahogany veneer at base. 30-hour time and strike, weight-driven, groaner-type wooden works. Painted Dayton, Ohio wooden dial, Arabic numerals, gilt central sunburst, palm leaf garter and scrollwork spandrels. Re-ebonized half columns and re-stenciled scroll-cut splat with eagle. Original tablet glass and early 20th century chromolithograph of Venice, original paper label. 17.2″ wide x 5.5″ deep x 36.5″ high.
