A painted and nacre inlay wood front rectangular shelf clock, 17 1/2″ X 12 1/2″, featuring an eight day spring driven clockworks, a dial in cursive script “J. C. Brown, Bristol, Ct, U.S.” and a reverse painted portrait of J. C. Brown in the lower sectional, now shattered.
Condition report
Glass in lower sectional is shattered. There is no guarantee of either the mechanical performance of clocks nor the completeness and originality of their parts and components.
