Impressive Black Forest Carved Shelf Clock: carved with a pair of large eagles on top. Below the clock face is a nest with one eaglet inside, 2 other eaglets are outside the nest and on the lower right iside is a snake working its way toward the eaglets. The case is also carved with lots of foliage and branches. There is an open escapement movement marked L. Marti No.6 with an A.1 over No.8002. Time and gong strike, with a gold colored 4 1/2″ dial.
(There is an old, very good repair on the upper most wing. No other damage to note.)
The clock is 31″ tall and running at this time
