Hotchkiss & Benedict Shelf Clock: brass, weight driven movement with bell strike and stamped number 1475. The case with 2 doors is mahogany and veneer with carved columns and splat. There is a good interior label and original wallpaper lining on the backboard. The 9″ wood dial is marked Warranted, with makers name and trademark. It has an eagle pendulum and iron weights. With original paper label.

(The weights and door pulls are not original. The mirror, with wood backing looks like a replacement. The top of the backboard has some splits and separations. The eagle pendulum has some worn paint and bent wing tip. No key.)
