George Marsh Shelf Clock: Mahogany veneer case with hallow columns for the weights. Brass 8 day weight driven movement with strike. George Marsh was from Farmington, Conn. Circa 1830’s. There is a good interior label.
(The dial is a modern replacement as well as the door hinge. The decoration on the lower plate is worn and the veneer on the left column has some creases.)
