DESCRIPTION: Shelf clock. Wood case with carved fretwork base and sides, applied fretwork trim, tin dial with applied fretwork numerals, brass works marked “E.N. Welch Mfg Co Forestville, Conn. USA”, time and strike, includes key. 19th C. MEASUREMENTS: 24-1/4″. CONDITION: Repair to center fretwork piece in base, left trim piece with loss at bottom, small cracks to dial fretwork at three and nine, fretwork trim above dial with loss to right side.
