Early 1800 Massachusetts shelf clock, N. Munroe on painted/decorated steel dial, figured mahogany case, banded aligned inlaid base, ogee bracket feet, reticulated fret work top with fluted column brass eagle finial, removable hood, weight driven brass movement. Similar to one in Carneige Institute, The Museum of Art, shown in”The American Clock” by Dinton & Bishop item #204. 32″t 13″w 7″d. Old finish/beginning to blister.
