Connecticut Triple-Decker Shelf Clock, 8-day time and rack-strike, brass movement. Painted wooden dial with gilt center bands and scrollwork spandrels. Mahogany case with carved capitals and paw feet, full turned columns in upper 2/3 and ogee (sleigh front) plinth in lower, cove-molding at top above panel with bulls-eye turned end block. Double door with lower two tablets in acid-etched glass, geometric over flower basket. Original finish, worn paper label with only latter part of last name EWSTER and CONN>. 19.75″ wide x 6.25″ deep x 37.5″ high.
