Classical Carved Column and Splat Shelf Clock, Rodney Brace, North Bridgewater, Massachusetts, c. 1840, the three-tier case with eagle splat surmounting the wooden dial with Roman numerals, middle painted tablet of Aurora in her chariot and lower of a young woman framed with drapery swags all flanked by carved half columns, thirty-hour time and strike wooden “Torrington” movement with pendulum, ht. 38 in.

Condition report

Condition: Replacement, re-drilled dial, carved eagle splat and lower painted tablet are old replacements, lacking weights.
