Birge, Peck & Co. 2 Door Shelf Clock: brass weight driven movement with gong strike in a mahogany and veneer case. The interior label has a train scene, has some deterioration at its bottom, it is still mostly legible. Circa mid 19th century.
(The 7″ dial has been repainted. The center glass looks newer. The pendulum’s front is worn and pitted.)
