BIEDERMEIER PORTICO SHELF CLOCK, German, c. 1820,the unusual architectural case designed with cylindrical clock suspended between two white alabaster columns with giltwood capitals, the columns rising from a black plinth housing a Swiss cylinder music box, the triple-train movement triggering the music on the hour. Height 26-1/4 in.
