An impressive mahogany, gilt wood, reverse painted and wood dialed shelf clock by Ralph and John Burham Terry of Bristol, Connecticut. These Terry brothers were sons of Samuel Terry, the brother of Eli Terry. This clock features a strap brass eight day clockworks with a portrait of George Washington on the bottom door. Clock dates to 1835-1837.
