Sessions oak shelf clock, steam impressed oak case, acanthus and scroll decorated base and sides, top with Art Nouveau floral, scroll and leaf design, stepped top window door, gilt reverse painted ”Eastlake” style decoration. Key wind hour strike clock with decorated pendulum. c.1880. No mark. Indentical to Sessions clock illus. in Encyclopedia of American Clocks. Similar to W. L. Gilbert Clocks ”Pasha” oak self clock. Size: 23”H, 15”W, 4 1/2”D. Conditin: sold as is. Case shows age appropriate wear.
