late 19th century, with blue crossed swords underglaze mark to underside, incised ”2172”, the circular enameled dial with Roman and Arabic chapters within a waisted case decorated with applied flowers and four putti allegorical of the four seasons, on a tripartite stand with scrolled feet, the movement with Japy Freres et Cie pastille, lacking bezel to face, overall, 22.25 H x 17 W x 8 D, est:$3000/4000. Condition report

Good overall condition. Good color retention. Lacking bezel to face, as stated. Back with drilled holes and rectangular depressions around movement aperture. General marks, scratches and surface rubbing commensurate with age. Typical small chipped losses to applied flowers. Does not affect overall look of piece. Dirt accumulation overall. No key. Movement appears intact. Working condition unknown and not guaranteed. The stand 5” x 17” x 8”.
