Gilt Bronze and Porcelain Mantel Clock Set

Gilt bronze mantel clock having porcelain dial with hand-painted floral decoration, Roman numerals and gilt accents on turquoise ground, porcelain inserts with figural panels depicting cherubs, dome top surmounted by applied bird, branch and lyre decoration, works marked, “R. & C. Paris & London 1549”, 15″t., 13″w., two four-socket candelabra with conforming decoration, 15 3/4″t., all pieces marked on the reverse, “P.H. Mourey”, the clock also marked “’74”. Condition: cracking in arms of candelabra, loss to clock bell, missing one candle socket insert.
