German Porcelain Clock Depicting “Four Seasons”, late 19th century. Case is porcelain after a Meissen model, with underglazed blue faux-crossed swords mark; heavily encrusted with flowers, modeled with four putti, emblematic of the Four Seasons, on three scrolled feet, an enameled dial with polychrome painted floral swags and an eight day brass time and strike unmarked movement, 8.75″ x 5″ x 14.75″ high.
Condition report
Case has restoration to two of the putti, some losses & restoration to flowers. Movement is old but possibly not original to this case, currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
