FRENCH ‘SEVRES’ PORCELAIN AND GILT BRONZE THREE PIECE CLOCK-GARNITURE SET. The heavy gilt bronze clock having twin side gargoyle masks, shaped-footed base with draped floral garlands and centered with hand painted porcelain with young women. The dial corresponds with hand painted floral and gilt border; the time & bell-strike movement incised “A.D. Mougin”, with original pendulum. Together with matching pair five-light candelabra with removable center insert. Cobalt blue fields with hand painted cartouches of beautiful women highlight the candelabra. Height of clock, 21 in., width 11 in. Height of candelabra, 23 in., width 8 1/2 in. c. 1875.
