French 19C Bronze Porcelain J E Caldwell Clock Set
French 19C bronze and porcelain 3-piece clock garniture set front and side panels are decorated with various birds in a cartouche with gilt floral accents. The ornate quality case is built of embossed bronze in a pagoda form, topped with 5 spires. The vase or urns that flank the clock, have a Japanese influence with elephant cast brass handles as well as beautiful hand painted scenes of exotic birds. The porcelain is signed underneath the vase PB Waite no.10450 vase and 456. The French brass movement is signed A*B and the dial is faintly signed J. E. Caldwell and Co. – Philadelphia. The porcelain and bronze clock set is in good condition with no damage or repair. The clock runs well and chimes on the hour and half hour. We are not clock repairmen and cannot guarantee the clock will keep accurate time. Clock measures 19″ high, 11 ?” wide and 6 ?” deep. The matching vases measure 12 ?” high, 5 ?” wide and 4 ?” deep. All 3 pieces are being sold together.
