DRESDEN PORCELAIN FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK, C. 1900, H 18″, W 10″:Beveled glass hinged door opens to circular enamel dial with black Roman numerals, stamped “M.S. Smith & Co., Detroit”, surmounted by a seated boy, three figures at the base, the whole adorned with floral garlands in low relief. Unidentified mark in blue under glaze appears to be an arrow bisected by a beaded circle (see photo). Ex Estate of Donald Colwell, Detroit Towers, Detroit.

No key. Boy at top of clock with repaired right hand, repaired finger at left hand, chipped nosegay in left hand; seated girl at the center of the base with chipped left foot, repaired fingers at her left hand; boy with flute with repaired and damaged fingers at his right hand, repaired flute; numerous flower petals and leaves overall; scratched glass door, crack in dial near VI.
