Circa 1932. Copyright King Features Syndicate. Working. Lithographed metal case is covered everywhere including the back and the bottom with images of Thimble Theater characters. Popeye is alone on clock face and his arms are the minute/hour hands while Popeye and Wimpy are on the sides and base. Popeye and a young boy are also on the back and four Thimble Theater characters are on the underside of the base. The early Segar signature is in two places. May be the best known example.
