Lot of 3 Gilt Metal Clocks. 1ST ITEM: A National Electric Clock Company mantle clock, the circular dial with Arabic numerals, dial marked ‘National Electric Clock Company, 675 Hudson Street, New York City NY’, the dial within a cast brass figural surround on three front scroll feet, impressed on base ‘Queen.Pat-S Pend-G’, center glass element missing, gilt worn in areas. 10″ H x 15 1/2″ W x 5″ D. 2ND ITEM: Art Nouveau gilt bronze clock with key, impressed on base ‘Pat’d May 6 1890…May 23 1894’. Case in very good condition. 8 3/4″ H x 5 1/2″ W x 2 3/4″ D. 3RD ITEM: Rococo Revival gilt bronze clock with decorated porcelain plaque depicting a courting couple. Plaque has both transfer printed and hand painted highlights. Case impressed 560 and with some gilt worn in areas. 10″ H x 4 3/4″ W x 1 1/2″ D. All clocks date to the late 19th to early 20th century, not tested for functionality. Provenance: East Tennessee collection.
