French Gilt Metal Figural Clock
late 19th century, unsigned time and strike brass movement numbered “6227,” with porcelain dial, set into a cast sculpture of a child holding produce, the casting marked “G.T.” and numbered “46,” the whole on an alabaster plinth and under a glass dome.
12 x 11 x 5.25 in.; 17 in. with dome.
Hairlines to dial; minor scuffs and edge chips to base; casting flaw on fruit basket; some wear to gilt.
