Three piece set with Sevres style porcelain dial and inset panel with a scene of lovers, an urn shape finial above. The clock movement is signed Marti for the well-known maker Samuel Marti. Included are two matching side pieces with Serves type porcelain inserts in gilt metal mounts. A nice looking set measuring 17 x 10 inches for the clock and 13 x 6 inch side pieces.
Condition report
CLOCK: Two cracks to the top porcelain urn, hairline to the clock’s front panel, no pendulum, break and loss to the metal ribbon above the clock dial, back cover is missing, working condition is unknown. SIDE PIECES: Very good condition.
