the enameled circular dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes signed Hodel, Strasbourg, set in a scrolling Rococo case decorated with birds, flowers and grapevines, with two conforming four-light candelabra, the works stamped Japy Freres & Cie Exposition 1885 Grande.
Height of clock 15 3/4 inches.
