William IV Carved Mahogany Mantel Clock, c. 1835, the dial signed Joseph Penlington, Liverpool, serpentine case carved with gadrooning, flowerhead, elongated leaftips and C-scrolls, with steel face and two train movement, chiming on gongs, ht. 17 1/2 in.

Condition report

Condition: Top with fairly heavy shrinkage cracking and minor losses; some loss to veneer around dial; chip to edge of back door; in apparent working condition.
