Second Empire Bronze Dore Figural Mantel Clock, c. 1820, with silk thread escapement, the movement set into the tail of an adorsed dolphin ridden by a cherub with a harp, silvered dial cast with a scene of the birth of Aphrodite, on ovoid base, set to front with shell on bulrushes, with leaftip rim, on tooled flattened ball feet, ht. 16 1/4 in.
