Marti et Cie Enamel Gilt Bronze Champleve Enamel Mantel Clock The drum form clock movement cantilevered from the oval top of the beveled glass cabinet, the cream enamel dial painted with a rose swag enclosing the Arabic numeral chapter ring, enclosed by a band of diamonds, the gilt pendulum featuring the portrait miniature of a matron with large bonnet enclosed by a band of paste diamonds, the base and the top inset with a thin champleve enamel bands of acanthus leaves and flowerheads, raised on integrated chamfered feet, movement marked with a “Marti et Cie Medaille d’Argent 1889” foundry mark “1978/48”, pendulum miniature painting signed “Desi”.
