Napoleon III Ormolu and Marble Mantel Clock
Vincenti et Cie, Circa 1855
Having a two train movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, set within a white marble base surmounted by an ormolu figure of a kneeling girl at prayer. Raised on an ebonized wood plinth with presentation dated 1855. The movement with Vincenti et Cie Medaille D’Argent medallion and impressed ROLLIN/ A PARIS/ 676. Chip to top of marble case; scratch to enamel dial; lacking pendulum.
