late 19th century, key wound time and strike brass movement with circular stamp reading “L. Marti et Cie / Medaille de Bronze” and numbered “1080144,” ornate brass mounted red shell case topped by composition gilt finial, brass dial studded with porcelain medallions bearing Roman hours, sun motif on pendulum.
12.25 x 6.25 x 4 in.
Identification number etched onto left side of the frame; pendulum unattached; back door latch mechanism will not close properly; some very minor age hairlines in shell.
