Mahogany Quarter-Chiming Mantel Clock by Elliott, London, retailed by G. H. Ford, New Haven, Connecticut, c. 1890, with cast brass case mounts, five finials, beveled glass and brass door opening to reveal a brass dial with Roman numerals, matted center, three subsidiary dials in the arch, proper right, Chime-Silent, center, Fast-Slow and left, Chime on Eight Bells-Westminster Chime, eight-day three train movement, time, strike, chime on eight bells and Westminster chime on four gongs, recoil escapement and pendulum, ht. 25 in.
