Group of Two Ansonia Arched Mantel Clocks, one a good, early Ansonia Clock Company gilt-spelter- and brass-mounted walnut arched mantel clock in the Renaissance Revival style, third quarter 19th century; and the other an early Ansonia mantel clock in mahogany stain also in the Renaissance Revival taste; the larger example with canted mirrored glass panels fronted by gilt winged putti standing on pedestals, both with silver-stenciled eglomise doors and both signed on the dial with the boxed Ansonia “A” within a lozenge, the largest h. 21″, w. 13″, d. 4-1/2″.
