Group of Two American Mantel Clocks, third quarter 19th century, one an attractive Seth Thomas parcel-gilt rosewood-veneered mantel clock in the Classical taste; and the other a Sessions parcel-gilt mahogany-stained wood gabled mantel clock in the Late Classical taste, with an eglomise reserve of an American eagle on the lower door, the circular dial marked with the circumscribed Sessions monogram; both examples with partial printed paper labels on the interior, the largest h. 15-1/2″, w. 11″, d. 4-1/2″.
