German Carved Birch Mantel Clock, early 20th c., with a spindle carved top on a lappet “roof” on a stepped crest, over the face flanked by applied half Columns, on a stepped wooden base, on turned feet, H.- 18 3/4 in., W.- 11 5/8 in., D.- 6 1/8 in.
Condition report
Convex “bumps” in face. Discoloration around metal on face. “Metal disease” to sections of face. 1 worm hole present to top, a few present to right hand side. Pendulum present, but missing toung to attach. Clock not wound, key not present. Not checked for working order. Condition of case is very good.
