Fuchs Durget, Sar-sur-Aube, Black Slate Mantel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, the gilt-brass-mounted and Languedoc marble-detailed black slate clock of rectilinear sarcophagus form, the circular dial of glossy black slate with incised and gilded Roman chapters and signed, the whole supported at the facade by gilt-brass paw feet and at the rear edges by attenuated toupie feet, h. 12-1/2″, w. 15-3/4″, d. 7-3/4″.
