French Gilt-Spelter and Alabaster Figural Mantel Clock, third quarter 19th century, Aollot, Paris, in the Louis XVI taste and featuring a youth in “Scottish” dress rolling a hoop, the enamel dial marked “Brevete a Paris/Pot”, with black Roman chapters, h. 11-1/2″, w. 12″, d. 5-1/2″.

Condition report

French Gilt-Spelter and Alabaster Figural Mantel Clock: A gilt metal leaf is broken off but present behind the boy. The hoop is apart at the bottom. Loss to the gilding around the clock barrel. The clock is lacking the back access door to the movement. No winding key present.
