French gilt bronze figural mantel clock cast as a beautiful seated maiden being offered drink by a putto on a leaf capped ground, enclosing the centered round porcelain dial face with Roman numerals. All raised on a foliate reticulated ogee platform. The running French 8-day movement housed in a drum with outside count wheel, strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. Movement stamped “3035 France 48.” 18.5″H x 27.5″W x 9″D, Circa – 1880.
