French Empire Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock, 19th century, with two-train movement, set into plinth topped by a bee skep, decorated with profile busts of gods and with scrolls, urns, and bees, set to one side with a figure of a standing classical maiden holding a basket of flowers, an urn to the other side, on rectangular base mounted to front with lovebirds, wreath, torches, and flower-filled baskets, on flattened ball feet, ht. 17 1/4, wd. 13 1/4, dp. 5 in.

Condition: urn mounted to base later (lacking original item). small washer over top of short bolt visible behind the urn (mounting spot from original item). some light wear/discoloration to gilding.
