French Empire Bronze Figural Mantel Clock
mid 19th century, time and strike brass movement marked “Bb / Deniere / A Paris / 1292,” polished black stone case with fluted half columns on sides, porcelain dial marked “Deniere / Ft De Bronzes / A Paris,” topped with a cast bronze sculpture depicting a recumbent Grecian nymph feeding grapes to a goat.
17 x 16.5 x 9 in.
Chipping to stone’s extremities and porcelain dial holes; interior affixed with modern support bars.
