French Egyptian Revival mantel clock with brass sphinxes and matching obelisks. Clock- 18.5″h.x15.5″w.x7″d., obelisks- 20″h.x7″w.
Condition report
Clock- chimes on the hour and half-hour, chips to sornice, base in several spots, pendulum marked “Thieble” but unknown if original to clock, dirty- runs then stops, screw holding backplate are replaced, no marks or stamps noted on movement. Obelisks- both have several chips. Note: as many photos as allowed are posted- does not relect each chip on these pieces
