French Crevier Portico mantel clock with dome the ebonized case with a serpentine architectural pediment raised on four Bernini turned columns with cast ormolu capitals centering the round foliate ormolu bezel. Set with porcelain dial and Roman chapters. Dial marked, “Crevier a Dieppe.” The brass 8-day count wheel with hours and half hours bell strike stamped: “3190 81.” Raised on a stepped plinth with overall brass and mother of pearl inlay. 23.25″H, with dome 27.75″H, Circa – 1860-1880.
