French Bronze Figural Mantel Clock, late 19th century, with stepped black slate or marble base, mounted with a bronze figure of a seated Elizabethan scribe, possibly Shakespeare, seated next to a pedestal fitted with the enamel dial, with two-train half-striking movement, ht. 17, wd. 19 3/4 in.
