Diminutive Napoleon III Mantel Clock, third quarter 19th century, composed of black-tinted tortoiseshell and inlaid engraved cut brass, in the style of Andre-Charles Boulle, the interior floor inlaid in brass and canted, the gilt-brass dial with blue and white enamel chapters, the case surmounted by a gilt-brass seated figure of a putto examining a flowerhead, h. 15″, w. 7-1/2″, d. 4-1/2″.
