Stylish Continental Engine-Turned Fruitwood Mantel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, perhaps Viennese, the brass and cut mother-of-pearl-mounted clock of “Portico” form in the neoclassical taste, h. 18″, w. 11″, d. 5″.

Condition report

Stylish Continental Engine-Turned Fruitwood Mantel Clock: There is a little wear to the porcelain dial around the winding ports. Light tarnishing to the brass mounts, bezel ring and pendulum. The back of the clock has a circular piece of wood affixed which is probably a replacement; it cannot be easily removed, so we are unable to examine the movement. No winding key present.
