Colin et Compagnie, Paris, Gilt-Brass Mantel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, of large scale in the Louis XV style, the entire iconography base on “Whisperings of Love”, with a flute-playing putto, a lovelorn maiden and a baby Eros in flight, the convex dial enameled, with black Roman chapters, signed, h. 28″, w. 24″, d. 12″.

Condition report

Colin et Compagnie, Paris, Gilt-Brass Mantel Clock: In good condition. The surface in a mild patinated bronze. Some wear to the name on the porcelain dial. Great quality to the casting. The works look clean. Lacking its pendulum and winding key.
