Charles X Ormolu Mounted Bisque Mantel Clock
Second Quarter 19th Century
Having a two train movement striking on a bell, with silk-suspended pendulum and outside countwheel, within an ormolu mounted white bisque case flanked by Aphrodite and Cupid, raised on a conforming base mounted with an ormolu bas-relief of putti. The white enamel dial painted in black a Paris. Repairs and losses to figures.

Condition report
Condition: Many restorations to figures, including head of woman reattached, wings reattached, hands repaired; losses to fingers.
Clouds with a textured surface probably not original.
Hairline cracks to dial and chips around one winding hole.
Several small chips to edges of base.
Bell replaced.
