Antique French Napoleon Figural Mantel Clock,
time and strike, quartz battery motor replacing original brass movement (included), heavy yellow marble footed base with applied Napoleonic eagle over flags and arms, topped with imposing bronzed spelter statuette of Bonaparte sighting a field piece, the exposed wheel of which carries the clock’s dial. A scroll beneath the cannon reads “Montereau”, likely referring the 1814 French victory over Austria and Wurttemberg. 19.75″ x 15.75″ x 6″

Marble loss to rear left corner, some hairlines and chipping, wear to metallic elements, cannon barrel free from carriage.
