An Empire Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock,
circa 1810, signed Bault et cie, Paris, 3 1/2 inch porcelain dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic numeral quarter hour graduations. Eight Day Time and Strike movement, striking on a bell with countwheel silk thread suspension. Gilt bronze case on a marble base, with female figure setting in a chair, reading at a lamp light.
