A VICTORIAN MANTEL CLOCK, late 19th century, dial and back plate marked Daniel de St. Leu Watch Maker to her Majesty London. The oak (?) case, having an urn shaped brass finial, four urn shaped brass mounts, with arched door, with brass shoulder mounts front and back, with scrolling brass side panels, raised on brass scrolled feet. The brass mounted dial with Roman numerals, below a subsidiary dial with strike/silent. With side handles for portability. With key. – 24 in. x 14 1/2 in.

Daniel de St. Leu was a watch maker in 18th century London. The works in this clock were probably fitted into a late 19th century case.
